Your NRA Expanded Accident Plan premiums will be applied to the payment method selected on a monthly basis. Rates include a 50 cent per month administrative fee. Rates and/or benefits may be changed on a class basis.
Your Expanded Accident coverage starts the first day of the month after your enrollment form and first premium payment are received. You cannot be singled out for cancellation, a benefit decrease, or an increase in your premiums due to a change in your health or occupation. Your benefits will continue in full force as long as you pay your premiums on time, remain an NRA Member in good standing, and the Master Policy remains in force. Coverage for all insureds (whether member or spouse) will end when the member reaches age 75.

Exclusions:
This program is intended to provide coverage for accidents, and is not intended to cover any loss resulting from: Suicide; self-inflicted injury, while sane or insane; sickness, disease, bodily or mental infirmity or medical or surgical treatment thereof, or bacterial or viral infection; use of any drugs or chemical substances not prescribed or taken as directed by a doctor; loss while driving intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance; war or act of war (declared or undeclared); commission or attempt to commit a felony; participation in a riot or insurrection; travel or flight in any aircraft (including getting in or out, on or off) being used for test or experimental purposes, by or for any military authority; insureds are not covered if they are serving as a pilot or crew member or while they are hang-gliding, parasailing, or parachuting; participation in any organized race or speed contest; loss occurring more than 1 year after a covered accident.
Expanded accidental death benefits are paid in addition to your NO-COST Accident coverage. Expanded accidental death benefits are paid for the coverage amount if you or a covered spouse suffer bodily injuries as a direct result and from no other cause than that from the accident, which results in loss of life. The accident must happen while the person is insured and the loss must occur within 365 days after the date of the accident. Unless you indicate otherwise in writing with the Plan Administrator, your beneficiary for your coverage is your estate or your spouse, first, then your children.
